Master Escape Room Participant Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Master Escape Room! Before you embark on your adventure, please carefully read the following terms and conditions. By participating in our escape room experiences at Master Escape Room, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including the additional provisions regarding credit card information and the policy on alcohol and drugs.
1. Acceptance of Risk:
Participants acknowledge that the activities involved in Master Escape Room may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional stress, or discomfort. All participants voluntarily accept these risks and agree to participate at their own risk.
2. Age Requirement:
Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at Master Escape Room. Some rooms may have specific age requirements due to the theme or difficulty level. Please check the room details before booking.
3. Health and Safety:
Participants confirm they are in good health and do not suffer from any medical condition which might be exacerbated by the Master Escape Room experience. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Master Escape Room staff.
4. Punctuality:
Participants must arrive at Master Escape Room at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time. Late arrivals for non-private bookings will have a 7-minute lock-out period. We are willing to accommodate late arrivals if bookings allow, but no refund will be provided for late participants.
5. Cancellation Policy & Reschedule Policy:
Reschedules must be made 24 hours prior to booking. Bookings made within 24 hours of event start time are not subject/eligible to cancellation (unless approved by owner). Any booking within 48 hours of play can be rescheduled to any date/time if notice is given 24 hours prior to booking. Cancellations & reschedule requests made within 24 hours of booking will be handled at the owner’s discretion only. (Excludes medical emergencies with proof of a hospital/emergency room visit)
6. Personal Belongings:
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings at Master Escape Room. Master Escape Room is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property within or outside the premises.
7. Conduct and Substance Policy:
Participants must not engage in any behavior that is dangerous, disrespectful, or disruptive to the experience, other participants, or staff at Master Escape Room. We have a strict policy against alcohol and drugs. Participants who appear physically or mentally impaired by alcohol or drugs will be refused entry or participation at Master Escape Room, and their booking will be cancelled without a refund. Master Escape Room reserves the right to refuse any booking under these circumstances for the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
8. Credit Card Information for Damages:
To ensure accountability and the upkeep of our immersive environments, Master Escape Room requires a credit card on file upon entry. This measure is in place to cover any potential costs associated with repairing damages or replacing missing items that occur during gameplay. Should any damages or losses be identified after your session, the credit card provided will be charged with the appropriate fees to address these issues. By booking a session at Master Escape Room, participants acknowledge this policy and authorize the use of their credit card information for such purposes in the event that damages occur.
9. Confidentiality:
To maintain the integrity of the Master Escape Room experience for all future participants, you agree not to disclose any puzzles, solutions, or secrets of the game to the public.
10. Intellectual Property:
All materials, puzzles, themes, and scripts related to Master Escape Room are the intellectual property of Master Escape Room and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without explicit permission.
11. Agreement to Photograph and Record:
Master Escape Room may capture photographs or video recordings during sessions for promotional purposes. Participants consent to the use of their image and likeness for such purposes.
12. Modification of Terms:
Master Escape Room reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be subject to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of their booking.
13. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Master Escape Room operates.
By participating in our escape room experiences, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions, including the amendments regarding credit card information for damages and the policy on alcohol and drugs.
